Drogba: Chelsea's Best Foreign Player?

THIS MONTH'S ISSUE of FourFourTwo magazine did a feature piece selecting "Best" and "Worst" foreign players for each club in the English leagues. The selection process involves fan votes and editorial judgement calls. Not a scientific study by any means but still produced an interesting list.

Didier Drogba is picked as the Best foreign player to have played for Chelsea. The editors note that the magical Gianfranco Zola came close but "10 trophies, 150 goals, two Golden Boots and a brutal style of forward play" pushed the Ivorian ahead of the mini maestro.

Wherever you stand on the Drogba vs Zola debate, you would probably agree that the competition is very tight. Both players are not just great performers on the pitch but they are model professionals off the pitch too.

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

[Note: Winston Bogarde was picked as the Worst foreign player at Chelsea.]

Carefree, wherever you may be...
