|Juan Mata: the Bright Star on top of the Blackburn's Nine-Men Christmas Tree|
It's only November, folks, but Christmas music has already occupied the radio waves and Christmas commercials crowd the television screen like teenage girls at a Justin Beiber concert. But that's not reason why I'm currently in a Christmas mood right now.
Looking through some of the screen shots that I took from the Blackburn game, I came upon this photo above. Just the way the nine Blackburn players were arranged and the position of Juan Mata (gold star) reminded me a Christmas tree: the 4-3-2 shape resembling the body of a Christmas tree with Mata as the Star of Bethlehem. And THIS puts me in a holiday mood.
This beautiful pass to Sturridge (blue circle), however, was unsuccessful because Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson came out very quickly to collect it ahead of Sturridge. Still, this is the kind of pass that we have come to expect from the Spanish magician. There's no wonder why many Chelsea fans have already fallen in love with him.
